Katie Hastert may have found a new calling. She was a model student in her first class at the Chicago School of Shoemaking and has now signed up for the Intermediate Shoemaking Class. We’re excited to see her next pair of shoes–of her own design.

I’ve always wanted to know how to make shoes, but never knew how to go about getting the training here in the city. Now that I’ve found out about the Chgo. School of Shoemaking, perhaps the time has indeed come to pass for me to learn how to make quality shoes of my own design.

Good morning, looking for someone to make a pair of dress gray men shoes for my son with Down Syndrome, shoes size 7 EEE. We live in Fayetteville, NC next to Ft. Bragg.
