Leather Work Classes

I worked on several new projects this week. Some leather jewelry, wristbands, different ways to attach leather to itself and came up with a list of introductory projects that will get you acquainted with how to work with leather and have some fun in the process. Several friends suggested this and I think it’s a great idea for our leather newbies. Bring ’em on. We’ll have the listings up soon. If you have any suggestions about what you’d love to make in a 2 or 3 hour class, let me know!

  1. Hello! I saw you and your work at the One of A Kind Show. Love what you and the idea that you can teach people how to create their own shoes! I picked up one of your cards for registering for a class and bringing a friend at half off. I wasn’t sure where to find anything about creating shoes on your website, I did see leather jewelry. Would you mind sending along info on the shoes as well? Thanks! Lisa

  2. Hi- My son Will took a workshop with you a year ago last fall. He has been making mens accessories by hand and finally decided that in order to try and make any money, he needs an industrial sewing machine with a walking foot. He now has a TakSew T111 ( from Goldblatt on milwaukee ave) and has made a few things, however he really needs training on the machine. Is this the same kind that you use? and, if so, would you be willing to do a workshop? We have a (very outdated) operating instruc. manual but it is kind of hard to follow! If you do not have a TakSew, would you know anyone who does who would be willing to train?
    thanks
