14 Hr Class: $935
Previously named Ballet Flats Class, this is a class to make a lasted pair of shoes including but not limited to Ballet Flats.
The cost of this class includes all tools and materials for the class except for the lasts themselves. You will walk away in a pair of lasted shoes of your own making. There are numerous colors and finishes of leather to use for your shoes and a few styles of soles. Under Isela’s direction and Sara’s support, you’ll start by creating your own pattern. We will provide the lasts in your size to use in class. Choose the full size you prefer. No half sizes available at this time. A lining and toe and heel stiffeners will be attached as well as the top grain leather. This class is taught in 3 sessions and will be a total of 14 hours. Class size limited to 4 students. When the class is finished, you’ll hear about options to make more shoes with this technique. We hope to spur you on to making more shoes for yourself and your friends here at the school and create a community of shoemakers who share knowledge and support. We now have over 175 pairs of lasts. Let us know when you register for this class what size last you need. A little information about our new instructor Isela Romo: Degrees and Education from :
