You got a taste of leather work in 101. Adding the ability to hand sew small projects allows students to create details and projects that traditional leather workers make. We’ve created a sampler and a project in one.   Prerequisite: Leather Work 101 or comparable class. Our follow up NEW Leather Work 202 will expand on your techniques and give you more time (and leather) to make a larger project.

Hand stitching techniques

1. Baseball stitch
2. Double needle saddle stitch
3. Double loop braid with calf-lace or deer lace

All materials, hardware and use of tools are included in the tuition.
